Project: EverGreen Lithium X Fleet Space Technologies
Location: Northern Territory, Australia
Commodity: Lithium
Deposit type: Pegmatite
Evergreen Lithium is an exploration company that owns 100% of three highly prospective lithium spodumene projects. Evergreen aims to achieve exploration success by identifying a world-class discovery utilising the latest exploration techniques while maintaining an ESG focus to contribute to a clean and green future.
Overview
Wanting to bring lithium to market sooner to support a carbon-neutral future, EverGreen Lithium deployed a survey over an area where there were known soil anomalies. This enabled the team to see depths between 400-500m and rapidly generate a model to determine action.
Exploration Challenges
The primary aim of the survey was to pinpoint hidden lithium-bearing pegmatites located at significant depths, commonly referred to as blind pegmatites. The Evergreen ANT survey, carried out in November 2022, spanned across four grids.
Our Approach
The Evergreen ANT survey, carried out in November 2022, spanned across four grids. Lithium-rich pegmatites within the Bynoe Pegmatite field have been consistently associated with areas exhibiting lower shear wave seismic velocities (Vs) compared to the surrounding metamorphic rocks of the Burrell Creek Formation.
“This technology will enable Evergreen Lithium to get results faster, drill our best holes earlier in the program and bring Lithium to market sooner.” - Jason Ward, Head of Exploration, EverGreen Lithium.
Outcome
The survey officially identified potential 'large-scale' pegmatite targets at its flagship Bynoe Project in the Northern Territory.
These promising targets are strategically positioned along the same strike as Core Lithium’s (ASX:CXO) Carlton and Hang Gong resources within Bynoe’s Survey Area 1. They exhibit low seismic velocity anomalies like those observed in Core’s BP33 survey.
The survey additionally noted two anomalously low-velocity zones identified within the velocity model that have the potential to be associated with pegmatites are located within the Central west and northern areas and are estimated to be 400m x 200m and 600m x 300m in size, respectively.
Both of these anomalies are also interpreted to extend from 200m to 600m below the surface and 200m to 1000m (the depth limit of the model), respectively.
Ongoing interpretation and analysis of the ANT data within Survey Area 1 are in progress. Additionally, Survey Areas 2, 3, and 4 analyses are anticipated soon.
