Fleet Space Welcomes Chief People Officer Amid Rapid Growth Following Series C Funding Round

Introducing Isa Notermans, Fleet Space's Chief People Officer

Fleet Space Technologies, one of the world’s fast-growth mineral space-tech companies, is delighted to announce Isa Notermans as its new Chief People Officer. This strategic appointment comes as the company continues to experience exponential growth following the successful completion of its Series C funding round.

Isa Notermans brings to Fleet Space Technologies a rich background spanning over 17 years in people and culture, with a focus on technology-driven environments. Isa will oversee the recruitment of a large number of highly skilled positions in Australia and around the world as the company is expanding globally through a network of global offices.

A graduate of Monash University, Isa earned her BA degree in Biomedical Science and Arts, she has worked on some of the most progressive, fast growth technology companies.

She most recently served as Chief HR Officer at Airtasker, a globally operating marketplace for services, headquartered in Sydney. Prior to this, she held the pivotal position of Global Head of People & Culture at Melbourne-based startup, Linktree.

Isa Notermans began her career by cultivating her dedication to fostering equitable people practices at Google Australia and in the United States. During her tenure, she led teams dedicated to early career hiring and advancement programs, notably championing Diversity &Belonging initiatives. Her journey led her to the role of HR Director for Pandora Music, where she played a pivotal role in scaling the business during its initial global expansion.

Notably, Isa spent five years in New York City as the Global Head of Diversity & Belonging at Spotify. In this capacity, she formulated and executed the company's Diversity strategy, guiding a global team of practitioners and ambassadors in the pursuit of fair, safe, and inclusive workplaces.

She was a key voice in driving equitable tech workplaces and even had the privilege of addressing the UN General Assembly for Gender Equity in Parental Leave.

This critical appointment follows a key period of growth for Fleet Space Technologies. This includes signing long-term satellite aided critical earth transition mineral agreements with some of the world’s largest and most innovative miners. Fleet also confirmed its first defence contract in April 2023, signing a AUD$6.4m contract with Australia’s Defense Space Command, a Series C funding round of $50m in May and was recently awarded A$4m Demonstrator Program contract by the Australian Space Agency to harness seismic data at Moon’s South Pole.
