Stephen joined Fleet Space Technologies in July 2023 as a Geological Client Manager to expand on his 30+ years experience working as a mining, exploration and consultant Geologist. He has worked on lithium, gold, copper, nickel, mine water, and coal projects in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Indonesia. Qualified Geologist from the University of Queensland (1988-91), and in 2022 completed mining business and management studies at the University of Western Australia. An AusIMM Member for over 20 years. Technical skills as a Geologist extend from fieldwork to interpreting geological features and structures, and mineralisation processes through to drill hole planning and interpretation, creating 3D seismic velocity and geological models, resource estimation work (JORC compliant), and public reporting.
