Our Production Technicians are hands on with key hardware that Fleet Space provides to our clients in the mining and mineral exploration industries. You will assemble, inspect, refurbish and test electronic and mechanical hardware that has returned from the field to get them ready for their next deployment.This role can be a great foot in the door with Australia's fastest growing Tech company (AFR 2023) especially for Electrical Engineering Graduates who are good with their hands.

This role is onsite at our facilities in Beverly, 5 days a week with core hours 7am - 3pm or 8am to 4pm.

Main Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, mechanical and other products according to established engineering drawings, procedures, quality standards
• Undertake maintenance, cleaning and inspection activities for products that have returned from the field.
• Functionally test and troubleshoot products to ensure they meet business and customer requirements.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure efficient and safe production.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly or production operations.
• Experience with functionality testing and test/tag of assembled products.
• Strong experience using various hand tools used in mechanical or electronics Production.
• A sense of pride in the quality of the work you do
• High attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
