This position presents an exciting opportunity for geologists who love publishing papers as well as driving technical content in different formats and forums. The Technical Writer (Geologist) will be responsible for driving technical papers to leverage Fleet’s cutting-edge technology on Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) as well as driving technical content to our mining audience. The Technical Writer will lead and support our team to publish materials in peer reviewed journals, present technical papers in industry forums and drive technical analysis on the competition and the market. t
With a background in technical writing and technical content, this position will be key in creating key publications relevant to our target audience of Geologists and Geoscientists. This position is part of the Marketing team but will also work closely with our internal technical team of Geophysicists and Geologists.
Main Responsibilities
Acting as an Editor to create technical papers and academic articles on our cutting-edge technology and Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) method
Work closely with our technical team to lead our publications and technical materials
Drive technical content and technical materials to translate overall geophysics to a geology focused audience
Great communication and presentation skills in industry forums
Strong research expertise to develop academic materials in a timely manner
Align priorities with the Marketing and Technical team to create technical content
Take ownership of the technical content with previous academia / work experience in Geology or related field
Conduct technical competitive analysis on the market and competitors
